Strabismus is a condition in which the eyes are not aligned properly and point in different directions.
It can appear in childhood; or later, caused by medical or neurological situations.
In the first case it usually causes reduced vision, and in the second case, double vision.
Strabismus can be treated with glasses, prisms, orthoptic exercises or a surgical intervention.
Strabismus surgery
This intervention allows weakening or strengthening the eye muscle to achieve a successful eye alignment, with a quick rehabilitation and improvement in the esthetic and functional aspects.
